Sheppard-Worlock Library at Hope University visit

The Catholic Family History Society has arranged a visit to the Sheppard-Worlock Library at Hope University, Liverpool, on Saturday, 8 September, at 1pm.

In addition to its own collection, this library now houses the library from Upholland College (the Gradwell Library) and the Talbot Library from Preston. There will be a talk about the Library and then a guided tour. Places are limited so booking is essential. Cost £5 per person, cheques payable to Catholic FHS.

Manchester Drag Ball

Join Thomas McGrath for a fascinating talk about the Manchester Drag Ball of 1880. The talk will also look at rare archives of cross-dressing during the Victorian era in the Wigan Borough.
