10.20am “Have you tried….? Using Lancashire Archives Collections to help you discover your Family History”.  Mr Alex Miller, Archives & Resources Manager, Lancashire Archives
11.15am Tea, Coffee and Biscuits
11.45am “Do you know your Divi number? The History of the Co-operative movement, the Rochdale Pioneers and how Co-operation affected ordinary people’s lives in the Victorian era”.  Prof. Tony Webster, Historian, Northumbria University
12.45pm Buffet Lunch
1.45pm “Not that Derby – this Derby! 100 ways to big up your district”. A light-hearted, dramatic exploration of the history, mystery & magnificence of the West Derby Hundred.  Ms Julie McKiernan & Mrs. Corrie Shelley of “Heritage with a twist”.
2.45pm Comfort break. (Please note no refreshments will be served during this break)
3:00pm “Great Victorian Inventions (and disasters!)”.  Mrs Louise Wade, Secretary of Leigh FHS
4:00pm Closing address
