The Leigh Group, formed in 1982, is one of the six groups of the Liverpool and South West Lancashire Family History Society. Meetings are held in the Town Hall, Leigh throughout the winter months These are held on the third Tuesday of each month except July, August and December, and start at 7.30 pm. Our meetings usually have a family history related speaker.

HELP DESK

Our Help Desk volunteers attend on Tuesday to Thursday mornings 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.

If you would like to book an appointment, please contact the Archives Search Room at 01942 404430 and they will check that one of the volunteers will be available at the time you would like to attend before confirming your appointment.

If you do not wish to attend in person you can still complete a query form available from the Reception Desk or by emailing: archives@wigan.gov.uk or calling 01942 404430.
